BACKGROUND AND INITIAL CONCEPT
Sandra, the owner of Thortax, wanted to revive her website. She had it built herself and even though it had served her for some time in a good way, she still felt that the style didn’t represent her and that she was very limited in what she could do on the website itself. So she decided that it was time to invest in something more professional and also in a design that was more aligned with her business but also her personality.
She also needed the website to be in 3 languages: English, Portuguese and German.
When I asked her to give me the words representing her and her business she came up with a complete list covering both the feelings she wished her site to evoke and the brand attributes she wanted it to convey.
Feelings: Safe (in good hands), understood, looked after, feel important like an individual (and not just a number).
Brand: client-centric, professional, modern, practical, honest.

Sandra felt much more comfortable with the second proposal.
We changed the font to Monserrat.
