BACKGROUND AND INITIAL CONCEPT
David was about to make big changes in his life. He was moving back to Scotland where he rented a big house in the country side and was about to relaunch his own coaching practice. For his practice he was planning to offer not only coaching sessions but also therapy and events to be held at his house in Scotland. He want all of this in his website organized in a flowing way.
The words representing the soul of David Alison Coaching are: Certainty, Vision and Empowerment.
Certainty was associated to the colours. Empowerment to images and lay-out. Vision to the fonts.
TYPOGRAPHY AND COLORS
SIMPLE, CLEAR, STRAIGHT TO THE POINT
His messages needed to be clear and straight to the point. We chose a carousel for the header. Each slide with a first sentence the main one in a heading format to be immediately visible followed by a more descriptive sentence to raise awareness and curiosity.
To make the website faster and more user friendly in the mobile version only the first slide of the carousel is left visible to the user.
CALL TO ACTION
The Call To Action for David was about booking a session with him. Because of the importance of it (basically the only call to action in his website), it needed to be strongly visible across the whole website. From here the decision to place the Call To Action in the menu which is sticky hence always visible.
David offers not only coaching but also different types of therapy together with events a retreats. It all needed to come together in a flowing way and to do that we chose a symmetric grid approach.
